Check out what the folks at MIT are proposing. Now they are looking for manufacturers. It sounds like a fantastic idea.

Why not make it available to the US market? Hand cranking power and sleek design.

I think sometimes we forget that parts of the US are like third world countries. We need to pay more attention to our own people before going around the world to solve the problems of other countries.

Kudos to MIT for this development.
